The Washington Capitals website stated that the franchise has re-signed goaltender Dany Sabourin. The financial terms of the deal have not been released. The deal is for one year.
Sabourin spent this past season with the Hershey Bears. He finished the season with a record of 14-9-0 with a 2.45 GAA and a .908 save percentage in 23 appearances. Sabourin also recorded 2 shutouts.
Sabourin is an 11 year veteran of the NHL and has played for Calgary, Pittsburgh, and Vancouver.
