ESPN.com reports that the Washington Wizards have picked up contract options on numerous players as well extended offers to other current members of the team.
The Wizards have picked up the third year option on the rookie contracts for John Wall, Jordan Crawford, Trevor Booker, and Kevin Seraphin. This means that these players are now under 3 year contracts.
The Wizards have also extended qualifying offers to restricted free agents Nick Young, Othyus Jeffers, Hamady Ndiaye, and Larry Owens. Since the Wizards have made qualifying offers they can now refuse any contracts the players may sign after there is a new labor agreement.
