Rams Back In Stride

After dropping two straight games, the Rams seem to be back on track. They have won their past two games in stunning fashion.

Two weeks ago the Rams took on West Liberty and cruised through them 50-24. This past Saturday the Rams finished off West Virginia State 37-7.

The offense in both games was dominant. In the past two weeks the Rams have totaled 854 yards on offense. They have had over 400 yards in each game. The running game is back to what it used to be. In the past two games, the Rams have rushed for over 200 yards in each game. The passing attack is as lethal as ever, as well.

While the defense started a tad bit slow against West Liberty, they are still that tough defense that came out to play against Shippensburg in week 1. In the past two weeks combined, the defense has only allowed 326 yards. The run defense has been one of the best across division 2 football by only allowing 7 yards rushing in the past two weeks COMBINED.

The rest of the Rams schedule is tough. They play their final two game at Glenville and at Fairmont. Last season Glenville handed Shepherd its only loss of the regular season. The playoff births will most likely be decided on the final day of the regular season at Fairmont.

If the Rams win out the rest of the season and continue to blow teams out, they can still make the playoffs. Sit tight, Ram fans, this magical season is not over yet!
